Dr. Clare Goodess
- Dr Clare Goodess is a Senior Researcher in the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the UK. Her main current research interest is in the development of projections of regional climate change over the coming century and working with users and decision makers to ensure that these are used effectively in climate change impacts and adaptation studies. Clare has co-ordinated and worked on many major UK and European climate change projects. She has particular interests in past and future changes in extreme weather and climate events and in the impacts of climate change on the built environment and in the Mediterranean. She is a lead author of the IPCC Special Report on Extremes due to be published in 2011.
